25 plus Craft Breweries will be gathering fresh hops from another March hop harvest to create single batch kegs of beer for the Fresh Hop Beer Festival in April.
The festivities will take place down the Vincent street laneway in Launceston's CBD, making use of two private carparks, with both indoor and outdoor bars pouring only the freshest of 2017's local hoppy ales.
As well as fresh beer on tap, live music and food stalls; there will be group Q and A sessions held each afternoon as well as a series of ticketed masterclasses.
Beers and keynote speakers will come from local breweries Last Rites, Moo Brew, Little Rivers, Morrisons, Van Dieman, Iron House, Hobart Brewing Co, Kick Snare, The Winston, Shambles, T-Bone, Hop Trial, Captain Blighs, Seven Sheds, Double Head Brewing, and Spotty Dog Brewing's head brewers. As well as interstate breweries Modus Operandi, Bridge Road Brewery, Stone and Wood, Dainton and Hargreaves.
There is no better way to drink beer than straight from the brewery, hand crafted by local artisans using the freshest raw materials available.
Proudly supported by the Tasmanian Beer Trail and the Launceston City Council.
