Wobbly Boot Vineyard is a boutique vineyard located in the Coal River Valley region of Southern Tasmania, 30 km from the capital city of Hobart and close to the historic village orf Richmond.
The property gains its name from the boot shaped outline of the property bordered by the White Kangaroo Rivulet and produces limited quantities of cool climate Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc wines which are only sold online and direct from the vineyard. The wines are also vegan friendly.
Sustainable and organic agriculture practices are used to ensure that the environment is protected and to develop optimum growing conditions.
Wobbly Boot is only open by appointment as they offer customised experiences including wine appreciation classes and vine to glass journeys with everything kept simple and unpretentious.
Group bookings for wine tastings, birthdays, weddings, christenings, pre-wedding parties, end of year work gatherings and corporate evens are welcome.
The vineyard is dog friendly with two large fully fenced off leash areas for pooches to run about whilst you enjoy a glass of wine. Their commitment to animal welfare issues and giving back to the community has led to the popular Wine and Woofs program - a quarterly fundraiser for RSPCA Tasmania, Dogs Homes of Tasmania, Small Paws Animal Rescue and Hobart Cat Centre.
Wobbly Boot was a finalist in the 2016 Tasmanian Community Achievement Awards for Agriculture.
