d’Arenberg have been presented with the Adelaide Wine of The Year Trophy at the 2017 China Wine and Spirits Best Value Awards, along with an impressive total of 17 Gold and Double Gold Medals. The Trophy was awarded to The Feral Fox Pinot Noir 2015, and was selected by a panel of 100 judges from prominent wine positions throughout China and Hong Kong.

Included in the long list of wines awarded are the three d’Arenberg Icons, The Ironstone Pressings Grenache Shiraz Mourvèdre, The Coppermine Road Cabernet Sauvignon, and The Dead Arm Shiraz. The soon-to-be-released 2014 vintage from each of these Icon wines received a Double Gold Medal.

Fourth generation family member and current Chief Winemaker, Chester Osborn is delighted to see his wines so well received in such a flourishing market for Australian wine. “The medals we’ve been awarded are a powerful endorsement of quality and suitability for the Chinese market,” he said. “It’s great to see the 2013 and 2014 vintages achieve such great results, and we’re thrilled that our wines continue to perform so well, year after year.”

Since 2013 d’Arenberg have received a total of 46 trophies and medals at these prestigious awards, with 2017 being d’Arenberg’s most successful year to date.
