Donabe pots are Japanese clay pots that allow you to cook meals right at the table, especially popular in the winter months. [Ed: great for kids too!]

You will love the collection of the warm, savory broths, thinly sliced meats, noodles, vegetables, mushrooms, and a variety of dipping sauces you'll create in your donabe pot.

Together with the recipes of Simply Japanese Hot Pots, beautiful photographs and tips and tricks for using the donabe make this tour of hot pots complete.
