Love food and the stories that surround the meals and people? Then what better book for you than this one – It's always about the food: recipes and stories from a food-obsessed community. The Monday Morning Cooking Club has been going for ten years and this is their third book, this time the result of a global search for recipes.

Our reviewer loved It's always about the food and we have two copies to be won !

It started in 2013 when six passionate and unstoppable Jewish-Sydney women decided to create a beautiful cookbook that would tell the story of their local food-obsessed community. Monday Morning Cooking Club - the food, the stories, the sisterhood was successfully published so they thought, why not take this a step further, like, around the country? And so The Feast Goes On was published in 2014.

The next logical step after their success went well beyond Australia's borders was to seek out recipes and stories from the Jewish diaspora across the world. And they did.

It's always about the food is brimming with heirloom recipes, great photos and stories from the contributors. Yemenite recipes from New Zealand, Baja Fish Tacos from Nebraska and Anglesey Eggs from Wales show just how wide-ranging the diaspora is. The stories tell of strong family bonds and traditions and also of how in one case, TV cooking shows re-ignited an interest in food!

This sisterhood have now spent ten years together and still laugh, share, sometimes argue (nicely!) and "love nothing more than talking about food - especially when we are eating at the same time."

This is not just a cookbook but a celebration of the food-loving Jewish communities around the world. The Monday Morning Cooking Club isn't just a group of women publishing books but a not-for-profit company with 100% of all profits for book sales going to charity.

This book was released on the 27th March and we have two copies just for VisitVineyards subscribers so enter now!
